WDW Marathon Weekend

The second weekend in January wraps up five days of festivities. Wednesday opens up the Expo. If you get there in the first few hours, you’re going to wait in long lines to get in. New this year was the RunDisney Magic Band. I pre-ordered mine, but they did have extra when I got there at noon, and because I preordered merchandise, I did not have to wait to get in. I got my pre-ordered merchandise, then shopped around for more. Lines to pay were about 15 minutes long, but it wasn’t a bad experience. My #protip is to not show up at opening. I would also encourage you to save your beer cups for the discounted refills at every Expo… I’m partial to the pineapple cider. Thursday through Sunday consisted of 5k, 10k, 13.1 miles and 26.2 miles.
