I wanted to share the medal from Hilton Head Marathon because of the landmarks on it.
I took this picture just after earning the medal while still in Jarvis Creek Park. The start and finish took place here, and as shown in previous posts, none of the run was along the beach nor lighthouse. However, the course allowed me to see so much of the island I would have otherwise missed had I only visited the iconic scenes in the medal. I should also point out I would have missed lighthouse if it weren’t for the medal. I always love it when a medal accurately portrays the city in which the race takes place. This one didn’t disappoint on a #MedalMonday
